Health Beauty and Elegance

The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 earthquake, resulting in more than 200,000 deaths and 1.5 million people homeless. The founder of Moringa For Love, Dr. Patrick Chou, went to this Caribbean country for the first time to provide disaster relief. He observed that Haiti has lost most of its forests due to unregulated logging and environmentally unsound agriculture practices. After returned to Los Angeles, Dr. Chou diligently searched for a type of tree to relieve poverty, malnutrition, and deforestation in Haiti. He discovered the miracle tree Moringa which contains numerous vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Moringa also provides economical values and is very suitable to Haiti's climate and environment.

From 2010 to present, Dr. Chou has been promoting Moringa in Haiti. Even the Haitian government realized the value of the plant and established the National Moringa Promotion Committee in 2013. In order to stimulate a sustainable Moringa industry in Haiti, Dr. Chou and his wife Frances Lee called upon a group of like-minded friends and founded the Moringa For Love, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered in California, USA. Today, Moringa For Love, financed by fundraising and product sales, provides scholarship, job opportunities, and all forms of charitable assistance on this underprivileged Caribbean island. They have since extended their helping hand beyond just Haiti and focus on charity through Moringa across the whole world.

Unveiled recently during the Los Angeles radio station AM1300 and AM1600 interview on October 24, 2020, Dr. Patrick Chou shared some of the latest accomplishments and works of Moringa For Love (MFL) on-air during this challenging time.
